Cynthia Carbrey is Global CIO of Kautex, a Textron company, where she leads global IT strategy, digitalization, cybersecurity, AI governance, and enterprise operations across 30+ plants in 13 countries. A 2026 Central Texas ORBIE finalist in the Global category, she has spent nearly 30 years within Textron, a Fortune 350 enterprise, beginning as a college intern and progressing to CIO. She is recognized for building high-performing teams and turning technology into business value.

Under my leadership, our global IT organization has evolved from a traditional support function into a strategic partner driving business transformation across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. We have advanced AI, digitalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making to improve operational performance, strengthen cybersecurity, enable smart manufacturing, and help business functions execute their strategies with speed, insight, and consistency. Just as importantly, we have built a high-trust, high-performance culture grounded in collaboration, transparency, and inclusion. I have a proven track record delivering enterprise-scale value by aligning stakeholders across complex, matrixed organizations. I operate at the intersection of business and IT, using a pragmatic, results-focused approach to accelerate value realization. I am passionate about AI and its potential to unlock new growth, efficiency, and impact for the organizations and customers we serve.

Under my leadership, the E&I Technology team has delivered enterprise-scale transformation by embedding AI across the portfolio—driving over $108M in incremental business benefits through automation, productivity tools, and digital platforms. The team accelerated modernization to improve platform reliability, scalability, and speed-to-market, enabling more agile delivery and enhanced digital experiences across underwriting, service, and customer engagement. Earlier transformation efforts helped scale a major care delivery business from $8B to $32B, highlighting the team’s ability to translate technology strategy into sustained growth. These accomplishments demonstrate a disciplined, outcome-driven approach to innovation—delivering measurable financial impact, improved experiences, and scalable growth.

Gurpreet Kaur is a technologist at heart, currently CIO: Global Services, Supply Chain at GE Healthcare, where she's leading tech innovations and infusing AI into products and processes across business functions to improve patient outcomes. Equally, she is driven by building the community at large through creative initiatives, such as Global Leadership Program, Panjab Digital Library. A 2025 ORBIE and Stevie Awards finalist, Gurpreet leads with curiosity, transparency, and heart.

I've always believed the best technology leaders stay close to the work. So as CIO of Global Services, Supply Chain, Quality & Engineering at GE Healthcare, I lead 1,000+ people across 47 manufacturing sites, not from a distance, but hands-on, in the details. My focus has been infusing AI directly into how we build, ship, and support our products, cutting time-to-market, sharpening quality, and freeing our teams to focus on what matters most: patients.
