As CIO at the University of Toronto, I have the honour to lead teams who challenge the impossible and transform society, serving 100k students across three campuses, 26k faculty, librarians and staff.I serve on the Board of Toronto CIO, am active in OUCCIO and CUCCIO, and Co-Chair the World Learning Conference with colleagues in Norway. I’ve worked 20 countries to implement programs to help our universities become valued sources of trust and innovation.

UofT is committed to responsible use of AI that supports the university as an unstoppable force for good, with 100k students and one of the leading research institutions in North America. I lead initiatives to shape how AI impacts digital experiences — balancing access to AI with digital sovereignty: protecting student agency, respecting academic freedom, & enabling new knowledge in the Canadian innovation ecosystem. Working with the Provost's Office and key strategic industry partners, we launched the AI Kitchen — a "test kitchen" bringing together secure access to trusted AI tools, governance frameworks, & guidance to advance responsible, human-centred AI adoption.

Kin Lee-Yow is a seasoned technology executive with over 31 years of experience driving large-scale transformation and innovation. He began his career at RBC, contributing to its online banking launch, and later led initiatives at Sears Canada and Moneris. As Chief Information and AI Officer of the CAA Club Group, he oversees technology supporting over 2.8 million Members. He is also actively engaged in volunteer and advisory roles contributing to the broader technology community.

During my tenure, IT became a strong driver of business success. We introduced a clear cloud strategy, strengthened governance through an Architecture Review Board, and built cybersecurity and third-party risk management into our day-to-day work. At the same time, we modernized our technology across the board, replacing outdated systems and upgrading everything from devices and printers to networks and core platforms, without disrupting the business. Together, these efforts reduced complexity, improved decision-making, and supported secure, scalable growth, positioning IT as a trusted partner that drives innovation while protecting the organization.

Led a global IT transformation to stabilize and optimize a highly customized ERP landscape across multiple business units. By standardizing processes, reducing customization, and consolidating vendors, we improved system uptime to over 99.9% while reducing overall IT costs by 15–20%. In parallel, automation and service improvements reduced resolution times by more than 25%, significantly enhancing user productivity and satisfaction. This disciplined approach enabled smoother integration of acquisitions, stronger operational resilience, and positioned IT as a strategic partner driving scalable growth and measurable business value.

Sarah has delivered innovative technology initiatives at industry-leading organizations – Metrie, ATCO, Bruce Power, Blackberry and IBM – by adopting advanced technologies such as AI, implementing new IT delivery models, and increasing cyber security capability. She is currently the CIO at Metrie, an independent Director at Associated Engineering, and Board Chair at Western University. Sarah has a mechanical engineering degree from Western, is a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and holds her ICD.D designation.

It’s the little things. For Sarah and her team at Metrie, we could talk about industry leading SAP wins but instead want to share a story of quiet innovation. Incoming customer calls experienced a few seconds of “dead air”. It was an irritation, not a barn-fire. The team quietly and quickly found embedded software – Microsoft Queues – replaced the outdated IVR and then rolled it out with no fanfare. No capital, no seconded team, but strong technical choices, and great change management. The tool even loads the CRM screens. All at the “right price” of zero dollars. Congratulations Team!

Peter Singh is Executive Officer, IT & Information Management Services at the Toronto District School Board, where he leads technology, cybersecurity, data, enterprise systems, infrastructure, information management, and digital service delivery for Canada's largest school board. A people-centred and innovation-focused executive, Peter is committed to service excellence, equity, modernization, collaboration, and student success. He also contributes to broader technology leadership communities, including C21 Canada, Evanta, and The IT Media Group.

Under Peter Singh's leadership, TDSB IT & Information Management Services has evolved from a traditional technology support function into a trusted strategic partner serving Canada's largest school board. Through a strategy aligned with the Board's Multi-Year Strategic Plan, Peter has advanced digital transformation, service excellence, enterprise modernization, cybersecurity, data-informed decision-making, and people-centred innovation. His leadership has strengthened how TDSB supports students, families, schools, and staff, while major initiatives such as Enterprise Service Management have delivered measurable gains in automation, transparency, efficiency, accountability, and service quality across the organization.

Sarah Willock is Vice President of Technology at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited, where she leads enterprise technology strategy, delivery, and operations. She is known for connecting technology to real business outcomes while building strong, inclusive teams. Her leadership style is grounded in curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning. Sarah has held progressive roles across enterprise systems, operations technology, and large-scale transformation, with a focus on modernizing capabilities and enabling growth.

Sarah has transformed technology at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling into a true driver of business performance and growth. She has led the modernization of infrastructure, strengthened cybersecurity, and advanced data capabilities. This work enabled faster decision making, improved efficiency, and increased resilience across the organization. Her leadership has also strengthened the connection between technology and operations.
